The Princess Juliana
International Airport Operating Company N.V.
(PJIAE) has
received financing through the World Bank toward the cost of the Sint
Maarten Airport Terminal Reconstruction Project No. P167974 and intends to apply part of the
proceeds toward payments under the contract for Equipment Package 1 -
Passenger Boarding Bridges (EP-1 PBB).

(PJIAE)
now invites Electronic Bids from eligible Bidders
for the EP-1 -
Passenger Boarding Bridges, which package includes but are not limited to
the following items: The Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBB) equipment package
includes fixed passenger boarding walkways and apron bridge drives, accessories
and systems. The EP-1 Supplier will be responsible for the design, fabrication,
shipping, unloading, installation, testing and commissioning of all the
components as per the scope of work. The General Contractor (GC) for Package 2
will be responsible for coordinating and installing utilities and network
infrastructure to the PBB connection points.

Bidding will be conducted as an international
competitive procurement using Request for Bids GOODS 1 Envelope version August
2020 (RFB) as per the World Bank%u2019s "Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers - Procurement in Investment Projects
Financing", Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (July 2016) ("Procurement
Regulations") and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the
Procurement Regulations.

The Bidding document in English can
be obtained by interested eligible Bidders from the PJIAE website: https://www.sxmairport.com/construction.php.
It is strongly recommended to register as interested bidders via this website. Those
interested eligible Bidders who have registered will automatically receive any
updates regarding the bidding process, e.g. clarifications, addenda, minutes of
meetings, etc.
6.
The Bids must be submitted
electronically as an attachment to an email in password-protected PDF file(s). The email shall clearly
be marked "EP-1 PBB - ELECTRONIC BID" and be received on
or before 04 January 2022, 14:00 hrs (2:00 pm) local SXM time.
Electronic Bid opening will take place on 04 January 2022, 15:00 hrs (3:00
pm) local SXM time by video conference.
7.
The password codes for the PDF
file(s) of the Bid must be submitted by means of an email clearly marked "EP-1
PBB: Password" to pool@bakertillcuracao.com
before 04 January 2022, 15:00 hrs (3:00 pm) local SXM time.
8.
All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid
Securing Declaration.
9.
Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower
to disclose information on the successful bidder%u2019s beneficial ownership, as
part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure
Form as included in the Bidding document.
